Daily Bryce Harper Watch for July 3rd, 2011

Bryce Harper went two for four with a double, RBI and run scored in the Hagerstown Suns 8-2 win over Lexington.  Harper also walked and struck out twice.

Harper is hitting .318 in 258 at bats and 72 games for the Suns this season.  Harper also has 46 RBI, 82 hits, 17 doubles, 44 walks and 61 strikeouts on the year.  Harper committed just his fifth fielding error of the season in the win.  The Suns take off for a quick three game road trip in Lakewood, New Jersey to play the BlueClaws.

    What Bryce Harper didn’t do was sign a crumpled up card that he paid $22 for ten games ago for a six year old bot that has no idea what ebay is. For him it should be the start of a life long memory, and after ten tries all he has seen is Bruce Harper flirting with attractive girls after the game.
    Sorry to quote my ten year old “Bruce Harper is a jerk!”
