Washington Capital’s forward Brooks Laich joined the LaVar Arrington show to catch up after recently signing a new six-year 27-million dollar contract extension.
Since the 2007 season the second line left wing has increased his goal and assist total in every season with the Capitals.
Although Laich will be making more money next season, he doesn’t anticipate changing his blue-collar work ethic.
“Well I’ve always done what I love which is playing hockey, and part of playing hockey is the off season, which is training in the off season. I’m in the gym at 7:00 in the morning till about 10:30 in the morning six days a week,” said Laich.
