The Washington Nationals continued their hot streak Saturday afternoon, defeating the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 4-2. The win brings the team to within one game of .500, a mark they haven’t reached this late in the season since 2005. Jordan Zimmermann pitched well to earn his fifth win of the season and Ryan Zimmerman hit his first home run since recently returning from the disabled list. He later scored another run when Michael Morse homered to give the Nats the lead for good. The team goes for the sweep of their geographical rivals tomorrow afternoon.
