Capitals General Manager George Mcphee talked to the media today about the hiring of former Caps star goaltender Olie Kolzig as Associate Goaltender Coach and also having Dave Prior re-join the team as director of goaltending and NHL goaltender coach for the Capitals.

The 2011 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 24th and 25th in Minnesota and the Capitals first pick will be at #26 in the first round.  McPhee said Evgeny Kuznetsov will play one more year in Russia and won’t be at the Caps summer development camp.  McPhee also said newly signed Swedish center Mattias Sjogren could be at Caps rookie camp, he also mentioned how they were very happy to get him and how they believe he can play on this level.  Sjogren also is good friends with Marcus Johansson.  Check out what George McPhee had to say during his media conference call today.
