The Red white and blue is back as the Wizards unveiled the new uniforms and logos at Verizon Center Tuesday. The old school look with the new Monument and DC  hand logo steers away from the old Wizards logo to a possible Bullets name change someday, not just yet.

“I am not naive to think changing the colors will improve anything but I do think as the team rebuilds and forges their own identity having that new look and feel can be a very powerful part of the narrative, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis said.

Wizards guard John Wall and Jordan Crawford modeled the new uniforms as legends Elvin Hayes and Bob Dandridge were on hand as well.

Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld said Wall will be the team’s representation at the NBA Draft lottery selection May 17.
