With just two games left in the NBA season, the Wizards are focusing on closing out the season the right way before they start gearing up for the draft lottery. The Wizards have won a season best four-of-five and close out the Verizon Center with Boston in town Monday night. This will be the Celtics’ second game against the Wizards in four days. They defeated Washington 104-88 at home Friday.

“This is probably the best our chemistry has been all year,” said Washington coach Flip Saunders at Monday’s  shoot around. Too bad the chemistry is there when the season is coming to and end at Cleveland Wednesday night. The Wizards sports a 22-58 mark, so sadly the goal is not to lose 60 games.

Celtics are still fighting for that second spot in the Eastern Conference with Miami as the playoffs start this weekend. The Heat pounded the Celtics 100-77 in Miami on Sunday.

The Wizards are coming off a 115-83 dismantling of playoff bound Atlanta on Saturday. Andray Blatche led the way against the Hawks with 23 points .

“That last home game is basically going to be for ourselves and for the fans.  Let [our fans] know that even though it’s been a bad season, we are starting to grow into a great team.  Let them know that next year should be different for us,” Blatche said.
