Maybe this winning thing is something the Wizards could get used to. It’s not so bad is it? After losing their first 25 road games, Washington picked up its second straight victory away from D.C.,with a 97-91 at Charlotte Sunday night.

Wizards forward Andray Blatche continued his strong play since returning from injury, scoring 25 points and grabbing 17 rebounds against the Bobcats. Rookie guard John Wall returned for the Wizards after a one game suspension for fighting, and he was a little sluggish to start, but ended with 18 points and 5 assists.  Wall’s back court mate Jordan Crawford continues to impress, scoring 23 points.

The 20-56 Wizards host Detroit Tuesday night.

  1. Carabini says:

………………..Sixers crush Wizards to start unofficial second half…. John Wall had 21 points and 12 assists for the Wizards who fell to 1-27 on the road this season. For many it s a time of angst as Sixers coach Doug Collins pointed out before Wednesday night s 117-94 victory over the lowly Washington Wizards at the Wells Fargo Center. But there was no angst surrounding the 76ers after their second straight win and eighth in the last 11 games.
