The Wizards did their best to blow it, but in the end they didn’t, edging Utah 100-95 in overtime. Jordan Crawford’s clutch jumper with 4.4 seconds left in regulation tied the game at 85 and forced overtime. This came after the Jazz went on a 12-1 run to take an 85-83 lead.
The Wizards dominated in the extra period though, as Crawford had some key steals that led to the first 4 points of OT and the Wizards never looked back. Crawford scored 25 points while John Wall led all scorers with 28, 24 coming in the first half. JaVale McGee had another strong outing with 11 points and 17 rebounds.
The Wizards are now 2-35 away from D.C. which is where they will be Wednesday night to host the Miami Heat.
