Wizards Fall To 17-52 In Portland
Portland forward Gerald Wallace, scoring a game high 28 points, combined with only two Wizards scoring in double-digits, was a recipe for disaster in the Blazers 111 – 76 domination over Washington last night. With John Wall putting up a miserable 3-for-12 from the field, the Wizards only managed to stay in the game until early in the 2nd quarter, before Portland blazed a 17-5 run that brought them to a 54-39 lead. They never looked back. The Wiz road record has now fallen to a pitiable 1 – 32; they’ll have their chance for redemption on the West coast when they face 2011 Slam Dunk Contest Winner, Blake Griffin and his Los Angeles Clippers, tonight at 11:30pm/ET.
