With one game to go before the Selection Committee begins to finalize their bracket, it’s time for me to finalize my prediction for who is in and out  of the tournament.  Check back once the bracket is out for the full breakdown and more predictions.

6:32 – VCU and USC are the other play-in game.  Virginia Tech and St. Mary’s almost certainly out at this point.  Colorado looks like they are in trouble.

6:28 Update – Richmond in as a 12-seed. After winning the A-10 I would think that they would have been higher than 12. Makes me believe if they hadn’t won that game, they wouldn’t be in.

6:20 – Another surprise: Texas a 4-seed.  Most had them as a 2 or 3.

6:13 – Bubble Update – Georgia in as a 10-seed. That likely means Virginia Tech is out.

6:11 Update – George Mason received an 8-seed and will face off against 9-seed Villanova, the winner will face Ohio State. Two 12-seeds just announced: UAB vs. Clemson in one play-in game.

6:05 Update – Ohio State is the #1 Overall Seed. Kansas, Duke and Pittsburgh round out the rest of the #1’s.

5:30 PM Update – Ohio State has won the Big Ten Tournament.  I think Ohio State wraps up the #1 Overall seed.
