The Capitals had their first real practice today with Jason Arnott and Dennis Wideman and worked on a little bit of everything.  Alexander Semin missed practice with a “maintenance day” and Michal Neuvirth had the day off.  Semyon Varlamov also wasn’t at practice and head coach Bruce Boudreau would only say “hopefully it’s not too much longer”. Todd Ford was the lone goalie for the Caps at practice.

Jay Beagle is day to day with an upper body injury, Eric Fehr practiced fully, but won’t put a timetable on his return and Tom Poti got off the ice once the contact part of practice started.  The Caps forward lines this morning were: 8-19-22, 21-44-16, 25-90-18, 17-26-15-10.  Check out what Bruce Boudreau, Marco Sturm, Brooks Laich, Mike Knuble & Eric Fehr had to say following practice.
