Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and the most revered athlete in the 2011 NFL draft class, spent time talking to reporters at the NFL combine on Saturday afternoon.

Newton’s press conference was unlike any of the other media sessions conducted this weekend. The most talked about player in this year’s draft, Newton opened his availability by reading a prepared statement. Then he took about 13 minutes of questions.
