One night after getting blasted at home by San Antonio, the Wizards rebounded with their first road win of the season at Cleveland, 115-100. John Wall had 19 points and 15 assists to lead the way while Nick Young poured in 31 points as the Wizards never trailed in the victory Sunday night at Quicken Loans Arena. Josh Howard returned after more than month off because of a knee injury to score 16 point for the now 15-38 Wizards.
“It’s like Christmas for us,” Wall said in a relieved locker room. The Wizards 25-game losing skid is now history.
The Wizards visit Orlando on Wednesday night, the final game before the All-Star break.
