The Sharks (28-19-6, 62 points) are fighting for a playoff spot and are hot lately going 7-0-1 in their last 8.  The Caps (29-15-10, 68 points) get Alexander Semin back in their line up tonight, but will be without Mike Green who is sitting out for precautionary reasons after taking a puck to the side of his head last game.  Forward Jay Beagle was sent down to Hershey to make room for Semin.   

Michal Neuvirth (26-6-4, 2.46 GAA, .914 Save pct.) will be in net for the Caps coming off his second shut out of the season Sunday.  For the Sharks, who are in their third game of a seven game road trip, will have Antti Niemi (15-13-3, 2.66 GAA, .913 Save pct.) in goal.  The Sharks have won 12 of their past 13 against the Caps, they split last year in their two meetings.  Check out here what Bruce Boudreau had to say before the game…
