Maryland 11-5 (1-2 in the ACC), takes on Villanova 15-1 (4-0 in Big East).

3:08 – Terps fall 74-66.

3:06 – Stoglin throws the ball away and that should just about do it. 73-66 with 18 seconds to go.

3:04 – Williams with the put back, but it may be too little, too late. 71-66 with 21 seconds to go.

3:02 – Armwood to the line, 1 of 2.  70-64 with 43.8 to go.

2:59 – Terps with four quick points. 66-63

2:57 – Nova just suffocating Maryland of defense. There we go. Stoglin on the break and Williams with the bucket and a foul.

2:49 – Maryland has completely collapsed in the last 5 minutes.  17-0 run by Nova.

2:40 – Maryland now doing what they normally do and falling apart on cue.  7-0 run for Nova cuts the lead to 5.

2:37 – Terps look like they are playing Colgate today in the second half. Great sequence off the steal. Howard passes to Tucker for an open 3, sees he has two defenders running at him and he gets it down low to Williams for a basket and foul. 59-47.

2:30 – Terps will be happy if Armwood keeps shooting jumpers.  Maryland lead to 11 after a Bowie layup.

2:29 – Williams with a nice up-and-under and around Yarou. 18 points and 12 boards for him so far.

2:28 – Terps have the lead back up to 8.  52-44.  This is getting interesting.  We’ll see if the Terps can keep this up.  Williams with the foul and Yarou to the line.

2:23 – Stoglin is literally alternating good and bad possessions.  48-44.

2:20 – Terps need to avoid the turnovers in the second half.

2:16 – Terps on fire to start the second half. 8-2 run led by stellar play from Terrell Stoglin.

1:51 – Williams makes one of two from the line.  36-33.  Terps waste three chances with under 40 seconds.  36-33 at the half.

1:48 – Let’s make it 4 straight turnovers.  Williams headed to the line, but he came down awkwardly it looked after tripping over Stokes.

1:47 – Terps with 3 straight turnovers.  Need a stop defensively here.

1:41 – Pe’Shon Howard is unconscious. He’ll shoot, and can make it, from anywhere.  33-31 Terps after the Howard 3.

1:39 – Jordan Williams with the put back dunk, makes it 29-28.  Maryland seems to be struggling on defense. Williams with 13 points and 7 boards so far.

1:37 – Dino Gregory with a huge dunk.  However, on cue, he misses the foul shot.  Williams hits a deep shot, past the free throw line.  27-26.  Nova.

1:34 – Easy basket for Stoglin.  Maalik Wayns is abusing Stoglin on the defensive end though.  To the line for an and-one and he misses it. 27-22.

1:30 – Tucker with the 3.  His shot has really come on the last few games from behind the arc.  25-20.

1:28 – Maryland breaks the press and Palsson with an easy basket.  Tucker with the steal, but forces a shot and then grabs a foul.  Bad play by Tucker.  23-17 Nova.

1:26 – Maryland starting to let it slip away as Williams wasn’t on the floor.  Gary calls timeout 21-15 Nova.

1:25 – Hawk Palsson’s name has already been butchered 3 times and he’s been on the floor for less than 10 seconds.  Corey Stokes with another basket.  He has 7 so far. 19-15.

1:20 – Williams with a dunk, Pena responds after an offensive rebound to tie it up. 15-15.

1:19 – Mosley with a spin and mid-range jumper.  He needs to hit more shots like those today.  He’s looking more confidant today. 13-10.

1:18 – Dino Gregory on the board with an easy basket.  11-8 Terps.  Corey Stokes with an easy dunk, 11-10.

1:17 – Williams goes 1-of-2 from the line and Pena comes down and makes an easy basket.  9-8.

1:10 – Williams adds another basket to make it 6-4 Terps.

1:09 – Late Start, but we get it going.  Jordan Williams and Maalik Wayns with the first four points for their teams.
