Montreal Canadiens v Washington CapitalsThe Caps (21-12-5, 47 points) play the Canadiens (20-14-2, 42 points) tonight for the first time since the playoffs last season.  The puck is set to drop at 7pm from Verizon Center and Semyon Varlamov (5-4-1, 2.49 GAA, .912 save pct.) will be in goal for the Caps looking for his second win in a row.  For the Canadiens they traded away star goaltender Jaroslav Halak in the offseason, who totally shut down the Caps, and Carey Price (19-12-2, 2.27 GAA, .923 save pct.) will most likely be in goal.  The Caps had success against Price last season in the playoffs, knocking him out in game 4.  For the Caps Marcus Johansson will be out and Mathieu Perreault is officially questionable, but took the extra skate this morning and probably out.  The Caps recalled Keith Aucoin from Hershey today.  Aucoin is a 32 year old veteran who had one goal and four assists in nine games for the Caps last season.  Tom Poti is day to day and probable will be out tonight, Jeff Schultz is also day to day and will take warm ups tonight and go from there.  Boyd Gordon is one to two weeks and Matt Bradley is two weeks.  Click more to listen to what Bruce Boudreau, Alex Ovechkin, Jeff Schultz and Keith Aucoin had to say this morning…
